This will be our art work guidlines as of now. If you are a sign shop, apperal shop, graphic designer etc. and we are doing work for your business, you will have to give us print ready art files. Being in this business you should be able to provide quality and coreectly formatted art files. We understand if your newer to this, there are different requirements for different types of print work. We will assist in every way to explain how your files need to be setup for your job type. We can't make tight production times when art files are not print ready. 90% of what we get from others shop is not printable and in volume it has become a full time position to correct art work. We will always do this for retail customers, but we don't feel it's right to do for shops that should know how to do this. Below is some examples of what is needed.
Photoshop is great we use it to. But these no need for very complex design that can be done other ways we the same results. If we printing flat work then this is fine. If you need contour cutting around letters and shapes, Photo shop is not a good choice.
For contour cutting we need vector images to make an easy outline (cut line). Even if you don't have the outline, we can click and outline it fast. If you have to use a photoshop image or a jpg. file and need it contour cut, you will have to build it or draw it.
4 color process printing and our printiners will print the blackest black with RGB black. Make sure to make all your black this way.
If your sending a jpg image for printing, it will print high quality if it is saved in the same exact size as the print job.
If color matching is critical, we need to have something sent to us by mail to match and this will be an extra charge.
We will still do art work clean and setup for a fee of $40 hour, so make sure to send us your file for a quote.
